Here is Jake with the teachers that took care of him in the infant room at daycare.  Jan is on the left, Nancy is on the right and in the middle is Khahn.  If you scroll waaaaay back in the blog, you can see Jake with Khahn on his very first day at day care.  He wasn't even 3 months old when she became his primary teacher 5 days a week.  He is lucky to have had such a great teacher to help him grow and learn during that time of his young life.  I hope come Spring time she's ready for his little brother.

As we all know, winter is coming.  And the Lannisters always pay their debts.

During the play date Jake was cruising around on the deck with a shopping cart.  He didn't quite see the edge of the deck and fell straight down into the bush.  Disappeared!  Daddy was right there and pulled him out with nothing more than some leaves in his hair and a few tears from the surprise of it all.  Dom, Ayla and Jake were checking out the scene of the crime.

Now all the kids got into the drawing board.

Dom and Jake were getting some chalkboard time in.

Jake went to a neighborhood play date last weekend.  He was the youngest and didn't quite fit at the table.  But he was okay eating his Halloween cookie.

Jake and Ayla doing a little hand holding on a walk around the neighborhood.

Jake was ready to go for the playoffs.  Unfortunately the Dodgers couldn't pull it off this year.  The good news is that as soon as he grows out of this track suit, the next size up is waiting in his closet (thanks Grandma Kathy!!!).

Jake doing a little flower arranging at daycare.

After a hot day at the pumpkin patch, it was time for a relaxing lunch.

Someone put my shoe on and get me out of this thing!

Found a couple of pumpkins that will do the trick.
Jake and Daddy headed out with a wheel barrow to find just the right pumpkin.

With Halloween right around the corner, the family unit took a trip to the pumpkin patch.

Jake had a fun time playing over at our neighbor, the Divita's, house last weekend.  He and Dom had lots of fun jumping on the couch.

Jake's first trip to the dentist.  They said his teeth and gums were okay.  Not picture is Jake screaming his head off in the chair with fingers being poked in his mouth.  He bounced back like always though.  What a tough guy!

Jake went teeth first into the corner of a table the other morning.  You can see where his teeth chipped the paint off of the table.  In the process he chipped a few teeth, bent them back a little and got a fat lip.  You can sort of see that in the picture of him.

Jake and Dom taking over the little playhouse at the park.

Jake having lunch with our neighbors the DiVitas.  He loves hanging out with his new pal Dominic.  And he loves pizza!

Jake doing a little painting first thing in the morning at daycare.  It was farmer day at daycare if you're wondering why everyone is wearing checked shirts.

Jake and Uncle Ulf having fun together.  Jake especially loved putting stickers on Ulf.

Of course, Jake's favorite place to be at the Hay Day was the little kids jumpy house.  A few tumbles, but he held his own.

Jake had his first pony ride at the Hay Day.  He was very serious the whole time.
