Grandma Kathy bought Jake some new Curios George books (his favorite!).  When she was in town last, they ready one by the fire on a rainy Saturday morning.

Grandma Kathy giving Jake some lunch.

A face only a mother could love.

Jake was excited to have the green light to throw rocks!

Time to get wet and dirty!

Jake and Daddy took a walk down to a cool beach near our house.  There is San Francisco across the bay.

A great way to keep Jake busy is to put painters tape down and let him pull it off.

Happy Jake, sleepy Mommy.

A lazy, cozy Saturday morning by the fire.

Jake will climb anything he can...

Jake wearing his cool new bib.  Keep those clothes clean... good luck!

Jake was hanging out on the swings with Sofia and Gianna (twin girls that live on our block).

Jake's hair wings are in full effect.

Someday you'll be out there with the big kids!

Dinner at Grandma Ida's house.

Jake sporting his cool new hat.

The beginning of what Daddy hopes is a long love affair with baseball.

Jake and Mommy on a lazy Sunday at Grandma Ida's house.

In one picture, Jake was looking behind the iPad to see where the characters were hiding.  In the other, he loved the show so much he was hugging the iPad.  He's a big hugger these days.

Uncle Ulf put a video on his iPad for Jake to watch.  It was the first time he had actually sat down and watched an episode of Sesame Street.  As you can imagine, he was basically blown away.

Jake loves to go to our neighborhood park.  He had it all to himself the other day.

While Uncle Ulf and Auntie Laurie (taking the pictures) were in town last weekend, Jake took his first "walk" on the Golden Gate Bridge.  It was socked in with fog, but what else would you expect.

Jake had a bunch of pals over for a bbq this weekend.

This fish swam up and made Jake cry.  No kidding.

Penguins!!!!!  And some lady cleaning up their poop.

Jake and Daddy checking out all of the cool fish and other animals.
